Bethany Vause Named Executive Director of SC Operations

LFS Carolinas has named Bethany R. Vause executive director of its South Carolina operations.

The announcement was made by LFS Chief Operating Officer Myra N. Griffie, who stated, “Bethany has been instrumental in operational successes in both adult and child services in North and South Carolina. She has facilitated regional growth, developed positive relationships with external partners, and demonstrated the critical leadership skills needed in these challenging times.”

During her 14 years with the organization, Vause has served LFS in a number of capacities, most recently as the North Carolina Child Services Team Leader.

Of her appointment, Vause stated, “I fell in love with the LFS mission and the people we serve a long time ago. We do good work and I am very excited about the opportunities this position presents.”

Vause obtained a B.A. in Psychology from the University of South Carolina, where she is now working on a Master of Social Work degree. She resides in Lugoff, SC, with her husband, Nick, and their daughter, Lowry.
