LFS Carolinas Announces Board of Trustees for 2011-2012

The new Board of Trustees of Lutheran Family Services in the Carolinas (LFS) held its first meeting Monday, November 7, 2011. Special guest Jill Schumann of Lutheran Services in America attended the meeting, which was part of a two-day retreat in Hickory, NC.

The retreat brought together LFS and Lutheran Services for the Aging (LSA) board members, leadership and other key staff members, who spent time learning, teaching and getting to know one another as they begin the formal affiliation of both organizations.
