LFS provides residential services for adults coping with various degrees of autism, developmental disability, mental illness, and symptoms resulting from traumatic brain injury. Self-sufficiency is taught and encouraged in these homes, though many clients will live out their lives with LFS.

Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded. The program provides 24-hour care to include all aspects of residents’ individual treatment plans and personal care needs.

Specialized facility for traumatic brain-injured adults.

Wilson Smith Cottage Winston-Salem, NC

Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded. The program provides 24-hour care to include all aspects of residents’ individual treatment plans and personal care needs.

Green Level Apartments Cary, NC

Enclosed apartment complex for adults with developmental disabilities. This program gives adults with developmental disabilities an opportunity to live in a supervised independent living community with 24/7 on-call support.

Opportunity 4 Supervised Apartments Durham, NC

Supervised apartment living for young adults age 18-21 who have aged out of the foster care system. The program provides apartment living as well as the connections they need for education, employment, healthcare and supportive personal and community relationships.

Raynor Street Apartments Durham, NC

Enclosed apartment complex for adults with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI). This program gives adults with SPMI an opportunity to live in a supervised independent living community with 24/7 on-call support.

Whittecar Home Raleigh, NC

Residential program for adults with developmental disabilities.  The program provides 24-hour care to include all aspects of residents’ individual treatment plans and personal care needs.
